Some of my fondest childhood memories begin with a simple lemon.

Whenever I got sick, my grandmother would prepare a remedy that seemed almost unbelievable. Every hour, I had to drink the juice of one lemon, adding another lemon to the mixture with each passing hour. It was her own little ritual—a family cure that, somehow, always seemed to work. Even today, whenever I start feeling unwell, I still make that same "magic potion." It instantly brings back memories of home, comfort, and her quiet care.

This painting is my tribute to those moments. A single golden lemon becomes more than fruit—it represents healing, warmth, family traditions, and the small rituals we carry with us throughout life.
